LM317T variable voltage regulator
LM317T is an adjustable voltage regulator monolithic integrated circuit intended for use as a positive adjustable voltage regulator. It is designed to supply more than 1.5A of load current with an output voltage adjustable over a 1.2 to 37V range. The nominal output voltage is selected by means of a resistive divider, making the device exceptionally easy to use and eliminating the stocking of many fixed regulators.

- Line regulation is 0.01%/V typ (VI- VO = 3 to 40V, TJ = 25°C)
- Load regulation is 5mW typ (VO ≤ 5V IO = 10mA to IMAX, TJ= 25°C)
- Reference voltage range from 1.2 to 1.3V (between pin 3 and pin 1, TJ= 25°C)
- Output voltage temperature stability is 1% typ (VI- VO = 5V, IO = 500mA, TJ = 0 to 125°C)
- Minimum load current is 3.5mA typ (VI - VO = 40V, TJ = 0 to 125°C)
- Output noise voltage (percentage of VO) is 0.003% typ (B = 10Hz to 100KHz, TJ = 25°C)
- Supply voltage rejection is 65dB (TJ = 25°C, f = 120Hz, CADJ = 0)
- TO-220 (single gauge) package, operating junction temperature range from 0 to 125°C
